A HOTEL that was wiped out by flooding has unveiled its temporary new look.

Colourful livery, designed by CN Group’s Maddog Multimedia studio, will be installed around the Glenridding Hotel.

The camouflage, which features sheep, mountains and funny slogans, will mask the 29 grey security fences.

It has been put together by AST Signs of Penrith.

Walkers will also be able to have their photo taken in front of a selfie panel with a Lake District mountain backdrop.

Liz Ali, one of the owners and managers of the hotel, said: “This will make a huge difference to us and the village.

“Progress is slow but we feel like this is a step forward as it will look nice. It will not just promote ourselves but also the village.”
