ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 083 BLACKROD)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.16) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 19th January 2017 which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No. 083 Blackrod commencing from Blackrod by-Pass; point A at grid reference SD 361867 410995 in a generally north-east by northerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 362024 411189 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bla083 over a total distance of approximately 257 metres.
No alternative route is available.
The Order is necessary to facilitate core railway engineering works and will continue for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
