Proposed development at Settrington C of E Primary School, Chapel Road, Settrington, Malton YO17 8NB.

I give notice that the Corporate Director, Children and Young People's Services is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for demolition of existing horsa building (80m2), erection of single storey building (187m2) for the purpose of classroom, kitchen and dining hall with 12 no. photovoltaic panels on north elevation, erection of canopy (26 sq. metres), erection of stone electrical kiosk (5m2), creation of a footpath, 4 no. external steps, relocation of 3 no. bins, installation of temporary classroom unit for the duration of the works (43 sq. metres) hard and soft landscaping works (270 sq. metres) and the removal of an ash tree and planting of 2 caucasian lime trees.

The part of Settrington within which the proposed development is situated has been designated a Conservation Area under the above Act as the area is of special architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance.

Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Ryedale District Council, Planning Department, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 29 March 2017.
