NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 123(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED)

NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF AREA OF OPEN SPACE

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Bolton ("the Council") intends to dispose of its interest in land that includes an area of open space at the following location:

Land rear of 15 - 49 Singleton Avenue, Horwich, Bolton (known as Green Lane Playing Fields)

A plan showing the area to be included in the disposal can be inspected during regular opening hours at the One Stop Shop, the Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU. A copy of this Notice and the above mentioned plan is available at: http://www.bolton.gov.uk/website/ Pages/Disposalofparksandopenspaces.aspx

Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Helen Gorman, Borough Solicitor, Bolton Council, Legal Services Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU, or by e-mail to legal.services® bolton.gov.uk bearing the reference LS/HJB/76829 by no later than 9th May 2019. All objections received will then be considered by the Council.

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect, which will be operative from 25th April, 2019 will be as follows: Deletions:

Rothwell Street, Green Lane, Woodgate Street, Viking Street. Additions:

No Waiting At Any Time

St Marks Street, Coe Street, Cochrane Street, Nile Street, Sidney Street, Fletcher Street, Adam Street, Lecturers Close, Green Lane, Woodgate Street, Rothwell Street, Viking Street.

A copy of the Order, plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by appointment tel. 01204 336677). Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within six weeks from the 18th April, 20196 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
