ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION

(SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994

CIVIC SUNDAY PARADE - TEMPORARY

CLOSURES & SUSPENSIONS

The Council has made an order which will be

operative on 19 May 2019 to enable The Bolton

Civic Sunday Parade to take place between approx

7am and 4pm. During this period traffic will be

prohibited and/or restricted. Affected streets are:

Howell Croft North, Le Mans Crescent, Howell

Croft South, Ashburner St, Victoria Square North,

Old Hall St, Victoria Square South, Coronation St,

Deansgate, Churchgate, Silverwell St, Market St,

Hotel St, Mealhouse Lane, Blackhorse St.

For full details of these restrictions see our website

or on-site notices. Alternative routes for traffic will

be signed. The order will cease to have effect at

5:30pm on 19 May 2019 or on completion of the

event, whichever first occurs.
