Baines Wilson has once again been recognised as one of the north of England’s leading commercial firms. (sponsored content)
The Carlisle based business law firm has had its specialist departments recommended in the latest edition of the Legal 500.
Nine of the firm’s lawyers were recommended by the guide: Andrew Hill, John Wilson, Joanne Holborn, Duncan Harty, Laura Barnfield and Sean Logue, Martin Stafford, Isobel Milburn and Tom Scaife.
Legal 500 said Baines Wilson’s employment practice “always goes above and beyond clients’ expectations” with Tom Scaife singled out for providing “superb levels of service”.
The firm’s commercial property team was also commended in the report for having “an excellent overall service” while Andrew Hill, corporate partner, was praised as a “professional, reliable and practical lawyer”.
All Partners of Baines Wilson received a special mention and were highly regarded in the legal guide.
Sean Logue, commercial property partner, was also recommended in the elite Leading Lawyers list, in the guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide.
The Legal 500 assesses law firms based on the size and resources, but also on the extent that clients recommend it in a particular field. Recognition is therefore independent confirmation of its expertise and quality of service.
Baines Wilson’s corporate and commercial, commercial property, and dispute resolution departments have all been given top tier recommendations and the employment team was recommended in the north of England category.
Managing Partner, John Wilson commented:
“We are very pleased to be continually recommended and recognised by the Legal 500 and as always we would very much like to thank our clients and business contacts for the positive comments, from which all of our rankings are based.”
Baines Wilson was also ranked by the respected Chambers guide and has recently been shortlisted for Community Involvement in the Cumbrian Business Awards.
