Prince Charles is coming to Cumbria.
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has confirmed he is coming to Carlisle to visit the Pirelli factory, in Dalston Road.
The royal visit, taking place on Monday, April 8, will mark the tyre manufacturer's 50th year of operation in Carlisle.
The Prince of Wales will also open Windermere Jetty, Museum of Boats, Steam & Stories following a £20m development by Lakeland Arts.
The museum tells the story of 200 years of boats, boating and boat-building in the Lake District.
He will visit the Hawkshead Relish Company production facility during its 20th anniversary year.
The company produce award winning artisan preserves, relishes and chutneys, many of which are made to traditional Cumberland and Westmorland recipes.
Prince Charles will also tour the base and meet the volunteers of Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team, as well as seeing a rescue demonstration.
