A new consultant has been appointed at legal firm Bendles LLP.

Doug Claxton has joined the company's matrimonial and family department.

Matrimonial laywer Mr Claxton has spent his career in Carlisle and Cumbria.

He said: “I am delighted to have this fresh opportunity to continue the skills which I have developed over my career.

"Bendles is clearly going through a very positive period of development and growth. I am delighted to be part of that.

"I will be offering support, training and help with the development of the family department.”
