BOSSES behind a Walney pub said they will be keeping some restrictions in place to protect their staff.
A spokesman for The Crown in Walney revealed they will not be lifting all restrictions from July 19 due to 'cases still rising'.
A spokesman said: "As cases are still rising we need to protect ourselves and our staff, so we will be keeping some restrictions in place for this to potentially change from mid August.
"This means that we will have restrictions on the number of people permitted into the pub, you will still need to request seating upon arrival at the front door and table service will remain in place for indoors only.
"Whilst you can order a drink at the bar, you must be able to return to a seat, as much as we would love to have you all standing at the bar unfortunately we feel the time just isn't quite right yet. Once again we thank you for your continued support."
