A RESTAURANT will be staying as takeaway only despite a further relaxing of the Covid restrictions in England.
Owners of Salvana’s Restaurant, located in Cavendish Street in Barrow, say they have made the decision to protect their staff from the virus.
A statement said: “As a small business we need to look after each other and each other’s families and for a number of reasons we feel the health and wellbeing of all our team is best preserved by making this decision.
“Cases of Covid are rising rapidly in our area, leaving us all in a somewhat vulnerable position.
“We really wanted to open the doors on July 19, but for the stability of our future and to protect our team and our customers, this is not going to be possible.
“Thank you for being patient and hopefully we’ll see you all very soon.”
