Youth Offending Team Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week
Workbase: Cumbria Youth Offending Service. Based in Carlisle or Workington – This post will cover both areas.
Contract: Permanent Contract
This is an opportunity to join an established team working to improve outcomes for children and young people in the Allerdale and Copeland areas. You will work within the multi-agency Youth Offending Team to deliver effective youth justice services to children, young people and their families aimed at preventing offending and re-offending, including cases posing a high level of risk.
Social Worker – Children’s Services. Children with Disability Team
Hours: 37 hours per week
Workbase: Cumbria House, Carlisle
Contract: Permanent contract
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Social Worker to join our supportive, friendly Children with Disability Team, working across the Carlisle and Eden area.
The Children with Disability team sits within the wider SEND team and work closely with their colleagues to ensure the children and families they work with have a detailed social care plan in place to meet all their social care assessed needs. The team also works closely with other Social Work Teams in the district and a wide range of professionals, including those in Health and the Voluntary Sector.
Refugee Families Resettlement Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week
Workbase: We have two roles available one covering Carlisle and one covering Eden.
Carlisle post will be based at Cumbria House, Carlisle.
Eden post will be based at Cumbria House, Carlisle, on a temporary basis with an Eden office location agreed at a later date.
Contract: Fixed-term 12 months from start date
Cumbria County Council is committed to supporting vulnerable families and children displaced through conflict and requiring resettlement in the county. We are seeking to recruit 2 Refugee Families Resettlement Officers for Eden and Carlisle each working 37 hours per week.
