PLANS to change the use of a guesthouse in Windermere into a holiday let have been approved by the Lake District National Park Authority.
The applicants - Mr and Mrs Stevenson - have been granted permission to use Park Beck on Park Road as a self-contained holiday letting accommodation on a flexible basis either as two self-contained units or as one larger unit, a report said.
Windermere Town Council recommend refusal on the grounds that they would prefer it to be for local residential occupancy, however the planning committee found the proposals acceptable.
