YBS Commercial Mortgages, the Commercial lending arm of Yorkshire Building Society, has strengthened its team in the North with the appointment of a new relationship director.

Carlisle’s Georgie McRoberts has been appointed to the role.

Georgie has a great deal of knowledge and understanding of commercial lending, having worked in the industry for more than 12 years.

She will be based at the YBS Commercial Mortgages office on Cross Street in Manchester but will be working from home for the time being.

Georgie said: “I am looking forward to being part of the North team with YBS Commercial Mortgages and promoting our excellent offering in the area.

"I’m so excited to get out in the market, working closely with brokers and customers to achieve our common goals.”
