A DALTON business has raised money for charity during a three day event.
The Hallowe'en inspired event raised funds for Mind UK through games, face painting and raffles.
The cause is close to the hearts of Charlotte Wilton and Charlotte McCarter, both of Dalton Co-op, where the fundraiser took place.
Miss McCarter said: "We raised the money for Mind Uk during our three day Halloween event, this charity is close to both our hearts as we have both recently lost people due to the affects of mental health.
"The total amount we raised was £266. We could not have done this without the generous donations from local businesses and people, for this we want to say thank you for all who attended and donated, we even had a visit from our local drag queen Ruby Sparkles. Due to the success of this event we are planning more in the near future so please keep your eyes peeled on our Co-op Facebook page."
