AN ONLINE business has expanded into a town market stall.
Pretty Personalised Prints is set to be the newest market stall at Barrow indoor market ran by 25 year old, Beth Mullen from Barrow opening on Friday, November 19.
Stall 91 in the market will soon be selling personalised gifts, cards and home decorations for any occasion.
Beth had been working from home with her online business for two years now and realised it was time to find a proper premises to carry out her work as it just kept growing.
She said: “The business just kind of expanded online from having orders all across the UK and I even had an order to Australia the other day.
“So I went and had a walk through the market and just got a good feel about starting my business in here.
“I know a few traders in the market already and know how much of a close knit community it is so I’m really excited to get in as they’re all so lovely.”
Beth who was a supervisor at the clothing store Quiz situated in Debenhams on Portland Walk, Barrow for two years quit due to needing more flexible hours to work around her young children.
She said: “I had young children at the time and I wanted something where I could work around them.
“I also wanted something for myself, something I would enjoy doing every day.
“My mum was making the personalised items first and I asked her ‘why don’t you sell them’ but she said it was just a hobbie so I asked her to teach me and here I am now, doing it as my full time job.”
Beth uses a big A3 printer at the moment and creates the designs using her iPad from her conservatory but is excited to get the shop up and running and meeting customers face to face.
She said: “I’ve had a lot of interest from people on Facebook when I posted online yesterday.
“It always feels good when you see that positive feedback before your about to open so I can’t wait.”
Beth will be open from Friday, November 19 but you can also still make purchases online at: prettyandpersonalprints.com.
