The owners of Home Instead South Lakes, Judy and Will Clay, have been recognised nationally for their business success.
The Great British Franchisee Awards recognise franchisees’ exceptional performance and business experience, ability to drive business growth, staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership, and franchise involvement.
Awarded as ‘Great British Franchisees’, the pair have been celebrated for the difference their business makes within the community, the care they provide, and how they play an important role in helping the Home Instead franchise network nationally.
The Clays launched their home care company in 2018, providing care across the South Lakes including Kendal, Grange-over-Sands, Kirkby Lonsdale, Windermere and Ambleside.
Since then, they have grown a trusted and reputable company which makes a difference by keeping older people safe at home.
The company was ‘delighted’ to have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the highest possible rating for a care provider, at its first inspection.
They have also received awards from homecare.co.uk, the TripAdvisor of care, with rave reviews of their care placing them in the top 20 regional care providers for three consecutive years.
Additionally, the company strives to give back through various fundraising initiatives including their annual ‘Be a Santa’ campaign which has donated hundreds of gifts to older and isolated people throughout the festive period over the past two years.
“We are so thrilled to have been named ‘Great British Franchisees’,” said Mrs Clay.
“Will and I have put our all into launching this business and we are so proud of the success we have achieved. This award is a testament to our wonderful team and the real difference that they make every day.”
