In 2024, BAE Systems Submarines is set to recruit approximately 700 apprentices and 300 graduates ready to start their career this September across the UK.

Applications for this year’s apprentice intake are open now until February 28. Post-GCSE apprenticeships (Intermediate and Advanced) offer trades careers such as fabrication (welding, caulking and steelwork), pipe, mechanical, electrical and office-based roles including IT, business and supply chain.  
For those with A-levels or equivalent (Higher/Degree Apprenticeships), available roles include engineering, project management and supply chain. Applicants can make one application at each of the two levels; post GCSE and post A-level and can select three choices within their application.
