After two decades of assisting young people, PHX Training, a specialist network training provider in the North West, is celebrating the milestone.
During its 20th anniversary celebrations, the organisation's managing director, Briony Fawcett, said that their aim remains the same.
She said: "We will continue our work and won’t let you down."
Ms Fawcett expressed her satisfaction with how far PHX has come in the past twenty years, expanding its reach across the North West and setting records in terms of the number of individuals they've helped.
She said: "We hope to continue our vital work for the next 20 years and beyond, but we want to express a huge thanks to everyone who has supported us and to every single learner who came to us for support."
Established in 2004 by Dan and Jayne Scott, PHX Training began in Barrow, aiming to bridge the skills gap in North West England.
The training centre rapidly gained a reputation as one of the 'most friendly and effective training guides in the region', becoming a go-to resource for local people aiming to improve their career prospects.
Over the years, PHX has provided comprehensive support to more than 20,000 individuals and issued more than 11,000 qualifications.
They offer various services including career advice, CV writing workshops, access to employers hiring, among others.
In addition to this, they also provide coaching and mentoring in financial management, Maths and English, IT and tech, and leadership skills.
Over time, PHX has expanded across the region.
They have established offices in a number of places including Carlisle and Workington.
Alongside supporting individuals, PHX has also built strong partnerships as a prime and a sub-contractor.
Their partners include Cumbria, Blackpool, and Lancashire Councils, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the National Careers Service.
Through these partnerships, it has launched several contracts, including Multiply, a free maths course, and AEB, a functional skills training course.
The training centre was recently granted the Investors in People Gold Accreditation, honouring their yearly commitment to staff development and fostering a positive company culture.
Looking to the future, PHX Training maintains its commitment to support individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills.
