A Cumbria-based charity is on the hunt for applicants to join a fully-funded, three-year apprenticeship.
Brathay Trust is appealing for candidates to sign up for the Aspiring Leaders Programme (ALP), which is now open for the fifth time since being introduced 13 years ago.
Designed for volunteers and workers within non-profit organisations - particularly those who may not have previously engaged with formal learning opportunities - the ALP offers a blend of classroom and hands-on experience.
Apprentices are given the chance to earn a Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Management while actively improving the workplaces they represent.
The ALP is particularly interested in applications from individuals based in Barrow and West Cumbria.
Liz King, the programme’s leader at Brathay, said: "We're really excited to be opening recruitment for ALP.
"We'd love to hear from you if you are looking for a development opportunity which will allow you to make a positive difference to the community in which they live and work."
The programme's schedule includes leadership and personal development workshops held at Brathay Hall, degree lectures and seminars at the university, as well as leadership mentorships and placements.
Those interested in learning more can contact ALP-recruitment@brathay.org.uk.
Applications close on June 7.
