A PR and communications agency has expanded its team in response to a growing client base.
32West has brought in journalist and PR executive Adam Lewis and graphic designer Alex Collings as new additions to the agency.
Mr Lewis joins as a client relationship manager, working with businesses and organisations across several sectors including engineering, robotics and nuclear.
He has previous experience with ITV Border, business website Business Crack, Cumbria County Council, and the University of Cumbria.
Mr Lewis said: "I am delighted to be joining such an ambitious and prestigious company as 32West, which works with businesses and organisations across all industries.
"The wide variety of clients that 32West represents and the amazing work they carry out makes the job really interesting.
"I’m looking forward to sharing these organisations’ stories and helping them further grow their businesses."
Ms Collings, a designer with experience working beside major brands like Craghoppers and the National Trust, will be working on brand creation and design on a variety of client accounts.
She said: "A job opportunity at 32West, based in my home town of Ulverston, arose at the perfect time for me.
"I couldn’t be happier here; I have been welcomed with open arms by the whole team and look forward to working with a wide range of interesting clients."
32West now boasts 14 employees and serves both public and private organisations throughout Northern England and Southern Scotland.

"They both bring with them huge levels of experience and both are brimming with ideas on how we can best support existing and future clients to help them further grow their businesses."
With offices in Ulverston, Carlisle and Newcastle, 32West was ranked 17th in PRWeek’s Top 150 for companies which operate across the public sector in 2024, climbing five places from the previous year.
The company also appeared in PRWeek’s Top 150 agencies outside London.
