A CUMBRIAN department store has welcomed a new concession which will offer customers an ‘extensive selection of quality footwear’.
Dixons Department store on Lowther Street in Whitehaven has launched a Charles Clinkard footwear concession.
Situated on the ground floor, next to the ladies and menswear department, the new retail offering will give customers the chance to shop a wide selection of premium footwear brands under one roof, including Rieker, Gabor, FitFlop, Regarde Le Ciel and Josef Seibel.
Charles Clinkard celebrated its 100th anniversary earlier this year and has expanded its reach with a series of investments in the high street, along with store refurbishments.
Tim Payne, managing director of retail at Charles Clinkard said: “We're thrilled to be opening our new concession at Dixons Department Store, which has been a cornerstone of Whitehaven since 1882.
“This year, we've celebrated our 100th anniversary at Charles Clinkard, so it seems fitting to expand alongside another retailer who has such a strong heritage and connection with their customers.
“We're excited to bring our extensive selection of quality footwear to Whitehaven and to share Dixons' dedication to customer service and community values.
"With this new location, we look forward to becoming a valued part of the Whitehaven community and providing a shopping experience that reflects the rich history and commitment to excellence that comes from both Dixons Department Store and Charles Clinkard."
The Charles Clinkard concession at Dixons officially opened its doors to shoppers in early November.
