A country house has been crowned the best hotel wedding venue in the North West for the second time.
Cragwood Country House on the shores of Lake Windermere has been named the 'Best Wedding Venue - Hotel' in the North West at The Wedding Industry Awards 2024.
This is the second time the hotel has claimed the title, having also won in 2022.
The awards celebrate the venue's service, food, and surroundings.
Cragwood Country House has landscaped gardens, a private jetty, and a historic house dating back to 1910.
Stacey Rothera, hotel manager at Cragwood, said: "This award is a testament to the incredible dedication and passion of our team.
"From our chefs crafting delicious menus to our grounds team maintaining the stunning gardens, every single person plays a part in making Cragwood such a special place for couples to start their married life.
"To win this award twice is a huge honour and reflects the love and care that goes into every celebration we host."
The venue specialises in elopement weddings and exclusive-use celebrations, offering couples the chance to experience a private and customised day.
Cragwood is now a finalist in the national Wedding Industry Awards and will represent the North West at the event held in London in January, competing for the title of 'Best Wedding Venue – Hotel in England'.
A spokesman for Cragwood Country House said: "For couples seeking a venue that combines history, elegance, and natural beauty, Cragwood Country House remains a standout choice."
